Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Working Tuesday to Sunday lunch and evening on a rota basis to cover days off and holidays.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant food production and a flair for creativity in the kitchen. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of culinary excellence, and deliver a exceptional dining experiences. This role requires skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of food quality and safety. Wage to be discussed upon interview.
Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Manage food production processes, ensuring that all meals are prepared on time and to specification.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for cooking and an understanding of current food trends is highly desirable.
- Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential.
