Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Food Preparation: Measure ingredients, follow standardised recipes, and execute cooking techniques across various stations.
· Health & Sanitation: Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations, including temperature logging, correct food storage, and sanitation protocols.
· Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels, rotate products to prevent spoilage, and assist with placing orders.
· Service Efficiency: Work effectively under pressure during peak hours, ensuring food is portioned correctly and plated to standard.
Essential Skills
· Culinary Knowledge: Understanding of cooking methods, flavour profiles, and food safety.
· Communication: Ability to coordinate seamlessly with other kitchen and bar staff.
· Multitasking: Thriving in high-pressure environments while managing multiple food orders simultaneously.
· Attention to Detail: Following recipes and ensuring properly presented plates.
· Physical Stamina: Comfort with standing for long hours, lifting heavy items, and working in a hot, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications (training to be provided)
· Fire Awareness
· Food Safety & Hygiene Level 3
· Food Allergy Awareness
· Emergency First Aider at Work
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
