Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our cleaning team at The National Holocaust Museum.
Own transport is essential.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.
This an early morning clean generally 7:00am to 9:00am Monday to Friday with a double back on friday afternoon
Occasional additional times may be required to facilitate for high footfall of visitors
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to ensure a clean environment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
Skills
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
- Please note that this site is not on a bus route
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their needs.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness and organisation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
