At Sandiway Manor, we are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to those who need it most. We are currently seeking a Night Team Leader with medication experience to join our dedicated care team.
In this role, you will lead the night shift team, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care and medication administration. You will play a key role in maintaining a calm, safe, and supportive environment for residents overnight while upholding the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the night care team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care
- Administer and oversee medications in line with care plans, policies, and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate records of medication and care activities using IT systems
- Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility as required
- Act as the main point of contact during night shifts for residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, responding promptly to any concerns or changes
- Ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment throughout the night
- Promote dignity, independence, and respect for all residents
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting, with medication administration experience essential
- Experience in a senior or team leader role preferred
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication
- Ability to lead a team and work independently on night shifts
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly with medication schedules
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
