Working for our Laser Tools brand, we are looking to recruit an Area Account Manager to join our expanding field sales team. After first-rate in-house training, a typical day will see you visiting Laser Tools customers from Motor factors and wholesalers, within your region to promote our brands and secure sales as well as following up leads with potential new customers, all while providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will come from a tool, automotive or sales background. However, we highly value enthusiasm, drive and positivity and would therefore welcome applications from candidates with experience in other sectors with those important transferable skills.
We are searching for an Area Account Manager who will develop an expert knowledge of our products and become an outstanding advocate for our brand.
Due to the nature of this role a company vehicle is supplied.
Location:
Midlands (England), we will therefore welcome application from candidates living within this area.
The Role
- Responsible for achieving & reporting on set targets within your designated region, you will be both proactive & reactive in your approach to selling the complete range of brands.
- You will work closely with prospective & existing customers and, by understanding their needs, will develop, support & grow business.
- Advise customers of promotions for future developments & introductions of new products.
- Daily submit customer orders as necessary and provide daily call sheets detailing work carried out and any actions required. You will also report on market conditions & provide competitor data when relevant.
- The Candidate
- An experienced sales professional with a strong knowledge of the automotive aftermarket sector practiced at selling into buying groups and independent motor factors.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to build excellent working relationships with both external and internal customers.
- Outstanding communication / presentation skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
- Self - motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Customer focused but commercially aware of business needs.
