We are currently looking for SIA-licensed Door Supervisors to join our growing team in Cambridge.
Job Description
As a Door Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. You will help maintain order, manage entry to the premises, and ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and professional security presence at venue entrances and inside premises.
- Control access to the venue and manage queues effectively.
- Conduct respectful and compliant searches where required.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of customers, staff, and the public.
- Diffuse potential conflict situations calmly and professionally.
- Liaise with venue management, police, and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate incident and duty reports.
- Uphold Citiguard Security’s values of professionalism, integrity, and respect at all times.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Previous experience in door supervision, events, or licensed premises (preferred but not essential).
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to provide proof of right to work.
