Role Overview:
This role focuses on handling customer and supplier calls and emails, booking orders accurately, and arranging collections. You’ll set up “hot sites” needing extra attention, ensure all daily bookings are complete, and manage scheduled collections. Quick issue resolution and raising challenges with your manager are key to delivering great service.
Full Time: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Based in our office in Rawtenstall, BB4.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers, ensuring timely responses to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure services are delivered to the agreed standards and timelines.
- Set up "hot sites" for extra attention, making sure suppliers are contacted early in the morning when needed.
- Respond to customer queries and feedback, ensuring quick and effective resolution of any service issues. Ensure you communicate any issues you have with your line manager to gain experience on how they would approach it.
- Book orders into the system, ensuring PO numbers are added when required and providing suppliers with the necessary details about site access and contacts.
- Arrange the collection of containers
- Confirm that all orders are booked at the end of each day.
- Manage scheduled collections in the system, ensuring they are booked on and that season tickets are completed as required.
- Being responsible for supporting Account Managers in Key accounts and also supporting the AM team with quoting when needed.
- Dealing with customer & supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Also responsible for day to day admin on the CRM, checking supply orders and ensuring jobs have gone ahead.
Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Excellent phone manner and strong communication skills.
- Prior experience in a customer service or account management role is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Proactive and confident with a quick learning ability and a willingness to take on responsibilities.
- A positive attitude and resourcefulness to handle a variety of situations, ensuring a positive outcome and experience for our customers.
