Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing property transactions, ensuring that all legal requirements are met efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent time management, and proficiency in IT applications to facilitate smooth operations within the office.
Duties
- Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction to completion, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and other necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address queries.
- Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities to obtain relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately.
- Utilise IT systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to manage schedules, track progress, and communicate effectively within the team.
- Organise meetings with clients to discuss progress and provide guidance throughout the conveyancing process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, including managing end-to-end property transactions.
- Strong knowledge of property law, including contract preparation and interpretation, property searches, and handling legal formalities.
- Keen attention to detail with excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding client communication and relationship management skills to engage with diverse clientele.
- Proficient IT skills for legal software and case management systems.
- Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer qualifications are essential.
- Proven industry experience in delivering high-quality legal services within a fast-paced environment.
