Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Team Member to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing customer houses, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-kept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance, construction, and gardening within a professional setting.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, Strimming, leaf blowing, and hedgecutting
- Operate various power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters to maintain grounds
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any faults or issues
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during outdoor maintenance activities
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is required
- Proficiency in using hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of gardening techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, , and operating machinery for extended periods
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of grounds care are maintained
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- A valid UK Driving Licence
