Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable LGV Class C (Class 2) Jet-Vac / Vacuum Tanker Driver to join our expanding team based at our Holywell Depot, Flintshire.
Working across a range of commercial contracts and private customers, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive drainage and liquid waste operations while delivering an excellent level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Jet-Vac and vacuum tanker vehicles.
- Carrying out gully cleansing and high-pressure water jetting.
- Transporting and disposing of liquid waste at authorised disposal facilities.
- Responding to emergency call-outs as part of an out-of-hours rota.
- Completing all relevant paperwork and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a valid LGV Class C (Class 2) driving licence.
- Be flexible and willing to work early starts and participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The following would be advantageous, but are not essential, as full training can be provided:
- CSCS Card.
- High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate.
- Previous experience within the drainage or liquid waste industry.
