Oz Espresso Machines is the exclusive UK distributor for Conti Espresso Machines and Compak Grinders, supplying premium coffee equipment to cafés, roasteries, hospitality businesses, and coffee professionals across the UK.
We are looking for an energetic and pragmatic in-House technician and after sales expert to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with exceptional customer service, helping our customers get the very best from some of the world's finest coffee equipment.
The Role
As our in-House technician and after sales expert, you will be the technical backbone of our operation and a trusted point of contact for customers after purchase.
You will be responsible for preparing, testing, servicing, diagnosing, and supporting Conti espresso machines and Compak grinders, while delivering outstanding customer experiences at every stage of the equipment lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, enjoys speaking with people, and takes pride in helping customers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, test, commission, and quality-check espresso machines and grinders before dispatch.
- Diagnose and repair technical faults on Conti espresso machines and Compak grinders.
- Provide technical advice and after-sales support via phone, email, and video calls.
- Create service reports and maintain accurate technical records.
- Support customers, engineers, and installation partners with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Manage warranty claims and parts enquiries.
- Assist with product training and customer demonstrations.
- Maintain workshop standards, tools, and spare parts inventory.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements
- Technical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a technical, engineering, service, or maintenance environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with commercial espresso machines or coffee equipment.
- Electrical, mechanical, or engineering qualifications.
- Previous experience in hospitality, coffee, or speciality coffee.
- Experience providing technical support or after-sales service.
