Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled full-time Bricklayer to join our construction team. This role involves performing masonry tasks with precision and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of various building projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with bricklaying, masonry, and related trades, ensuring quality craftsmanship on every job.
Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare surfaces and materials using hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment
- Measure and cut materials precisely to fit designated spaces
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or with heavy tools
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, welders, and other trades to ensure seamless project flow
- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related construction trades
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of roofing, welding, carpentry, and general construction practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
