Night Hygiene Operative
Langport (30 minute drive from Yeovil)
Temp – Perm position
£15.50 Per hour
SITE TOURS AVAILABLE
Full-Time, Night shift,
19:00 - 05:00, Monday - Friday
2 x 30 minutes break per day
We are seeking a Night Hygiene Operative to join our client that are located in Langport. This factory specialises in supplying and developing award-winning British beef and lamb products for retail, food service and wholesale customers worldwide. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that production area is clean to highest standards and ready for production the next day.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Ensure all areas including all machinery, belts etc. are washed down
· Ensure all areas including machinery belts etc. are cleaned on a regular basis
· Ensure the waste material is transported to the correct designated collection point
· Once night shift has finished ensuring the work area is tidy, clear, and disinfected for the day shift
· Undertake any other reasonable requests made
· Be able to work well within a team to ensure customer (internal and external), company and site compliance and satisfaction
· Report any accidents/absences are reported inline with site reporting procedures
· Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with attached H&S responsibilities
Requirements:
· General operative tasks require a substantial amount of physical ability must be physically fit.
· Can do attitude with good communication skills and a basic understanding of verbal and written English
· Excellent organisational skills for record keeping
· Have basic understanding of Food Safety you will attend training as part of your role to achieve Level 2 Food Safety
