Monday - Friday
£37,000 salary - based on 60 hours shift time per week, however drivers generally have long breaks between jobs. Anything beyond this is paid at an agreed overtime rate. 1 hour break time per day are not included but any breaks on top of this are paid at the full rate included in the salary.
This role will include staying in the vehicle overnight for four nights in one of our 7.2t roof pod cabs, please ensure you are suitable for this before applying
Driver night out pay (subsistence) paid at £26.20 per night in addition to the £37,000 basic.
Weekend shifts available every other week in line with drivers hours regulations (where available) to increase earnings, but this is optional.
General Haulage
Hours: Typically starting 06:00-08:00am during the week days, daily hours will fluctuate
We are looking for an enthusiastic 7.5tonne lorry driver, with a passion for driving.
The job will entail around two jobs a day, collecting and delivering around the south of the UK.
Applicants must be punctual, timing is crucial in the industry. They must also be courteous and polite as they will be the face of the company when representing us.
Applicants must be able to offload via tail lifts, applicants must also be able to handball where required and have experience in load securing and knowledge of driving hours regulations, applicants will also be expected to work up to 15 hour shifts where applicable.
Must have the following:
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Full UK Licence with Category C1 entitlement (aquired rights are perfectly fine, but must have Driver CPC, if applicants do not have this please advise as training can be arranged subject to criteria)
- Must have knowledge of EU Driving Rules
- Must be able to use a smart phone confidently, we can provide one or you can use your own if preferred.
- Must be able to communicate in fluent English language.
