The position for Casual Hotel Receptionist comes with a zero-hour contract to cover extra shifts in busy periods, holidays, sickness, maternity leave, etc. Ideal for professionals that are not looking for a tight working schedule!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and inviting.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Process reservations and cancellations using the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for interacting with diverse guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
