Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for Civils Site Supervisor to work with our client who is an established construction company that specialises in the civils sector, with work taking place in the Morpeth area.
Pay: Starting @ £220p/d
Duration: 12 Months
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Supervise and coordinate daily civils works on site.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and plant to ensure efficient delivery.
- Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with RAMS and company procedures.
- Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
- Carry out site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers and subcontractors.
- Monitor materials, plant and labour requirements.
- Ensure site records, permits, inspections and documentation are maintained.
- Identify and resolve issues on site quickly and effectively.
- Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Requirements: Candidates will need to show the following.
- Proven experience as a Civils Site Supervisor or similar role.
- Experience working on civil engineering, groundworks, drainage, utilities, highways or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and RAMS.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- CSCS/CPCS/NPORS or relevant industry qualifications.
- SMSTS/SSSTS qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
