Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Traffic Marshall to oversee and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in designated areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a safe environment for all individuals on site. This role is crucial in ensuring that traffic regulations are adhered to, thereby preventing accidents and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage vehicle movements within the site to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and other personnel to provide clear instructions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of traffic regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust management strategies as necessary to prevent congestion.
- Report any incidents or hazards to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Assist in the training of new Traffic Marshalls as required.
- Manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring the safety of all individuals present.
12 month project.
Must hold npors or cpcs traffic marshal and CSCS card if npors.
