The Role
As Team Leader, you’ll guide a team of dedicated staff, ensuring every child in your care feels safe, supported, and empowered. You’ll be hands-on, mentoring your team, maintaining quality standards, and shaping care plans that truly make a difference.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care.
- Oversee and maintain tailored care plans for each child.
- Act as a positive role model, championing trauma-informed approaches.
- Ensure operational excellence: staffing, rotas, budgets, and compliance.
- Drive a culture of positivity, inclusivity, and professional growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for working with young people and making a difference.
- Leadership experience in a care setting, with strong team management skills.
- Knowledge of BESD (Behavioural, Emotional, Social Difficulties) and trauma-informed care.
- Secondary education with strong literacy & numeracy; UK driving licence.
Bonus: Experience in residential care, knowledge of childcare legislation, and a track record in developing high-performing teams.
