We are seeking a Handrail and Lifeline Installer to join our dedicated team. Full training will be given. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing safety handrails and lifelines in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety, looking to contribute to vital safety infrastructure projects.
Our yard is based in Earith and would involve traveling in company vehicles daily. Following a probation period we would enrol you into our company bonus scheme. Wages are paid weekly.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble handrails and lifelines according to project specifications and safety regulations
- Install handrails and lifelines on various structures, including industrial sites, commercial buildings, and outdoor environments
- Ensure all installations are secure, level, and compliant with relevant safety standards
- Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and effectively during installation processes
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation and identify any adjustments needed
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to working at heights and on construction sites
- a CSCS Card is an advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence is essential
- A proactive attitude with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
