We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Carer to provide high-quality support and assistance to people within their own home.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of those in their care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity are maintained at all times. Duties
- Assist client with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support client in adhering to personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client's quality of life
- Administer medication as prescribed, following strict protocols and documentation procedures
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients conditions
- Assist with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Communicate effectively with the client, the familiy, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is essential
- Following personalised care plans
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
- Organised and reliable with a professional approach to caregiving
- Can work in a home with dogs and other pets.
