A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef wanting to deliver a high level dining experience, at our lovely hotel in Pontyclun and working in the 42nd best steak restaurant in the world, on a full time contract.
This role is at least 48 hours per week contract, and you will earn competitive salary plus tips.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings are a must on this role.
Are you a chef with a creative flair used to exceptional quality fresh produce – with a thorough knowledge of ingredients and how they should be used.
Alongside the Head Chef you will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen. Ensuring that company and statutory food, hygiene and Health & Safety standards are always maintained. Ensuring the appropriate management, supervision, and training of the kitchen brigade.
As Sous you will uphold the food vision of the Head Chef ensuring delivery of consistently exceptional food for the unique customer experience at Lanelay Hall- through detailed execution of the recipes and maintaining sourcing strategies and relationships with all key suppliers.
What you’ll need ...
- At least 3 years Chef experience (preferred)
- To lead by example
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Professionally presented
