Electrical Installation Apprentice - Elsym Installations Ltd
Working for a busy electrical contractor and specialist to the water industry based in Burton-Upon-Trent, we have an electrical installation apprenticeship opportunity to gain experience and training in the industrial sector across the UK. This involves on-the-job training with our experienced team where you will learn the practical aspects of the role, in addition to attending college where you will learn the theory-based aspects of becoming a successful and qualified electrician. This role involves frequent working away Monday-Friday with travel time, lodgings and expenses paid.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
You’ll be eager to learn, have a can-do attitude, be organised, a good time-keeper and keen to integrate into a small and friendly team. You will ensure all health and safety rules are followed and you’ll be committed to assisting electricians to ensure installations are completed to a high standard and within set deadlines.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- An interest in electrical installation and working towards becoming fully qualified
- You must be over the age of 18 due to the nature of the sites that we work on
- You must provide your own hand tools (this can be established over time)
- A willingness to travel across the country and stay overnight
DESIRABLE
- Some experience in working with tools
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Qualifications such as Emergency First Aid at Work, Asbestos Awareness etc
- Some electrical knowledge or experience would be a distinct advantage
- English, Maths, Science and ICT A*-C
