Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks across various school areas, including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Disinfect touchpoints such as door handles, light switches, and desks to prevent the spread of germs.
- Restock supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude towards maintaining a safe and clean environment within an educational setting.
Pay: £12.71-£13.25 per hour
