NeurophysCare Ltd is seeking a reliable and professional Locum Chaperone to support consultant-led neurophysiology clinics on weekends in Stoke.
The successful candidate will act as a clinical chaperone during patient consultations and examinations, helping to ensure patient dignity, comfort and safety throughout the clinic.
Hours: 4pm – 8pm per clinic or 8am - 8pm
Frequency: 3 to 4 weekends a month
Location: Stoke
Duties
- Acting as a clinical chaperone during patient consultations and examinations
- Providing reassurance and support to patients
- Assisting with patient flow throughout the clinic
- Maintaining patient dignity, privacy and comfort
- Supporting clinicians as required during clinic sessions
- Adhering to confidentiality, safeguarding and information governance requirements
Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, compassionate and approachable manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in a healthcare, care or patient-facing environment
Desirable
- Previous healthcare experience
- Chaperone Training Certificate
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of patient dignity and safeguarding principles
Additional Information
As part of this role, the successful candidate will provide clinical chaperone support during patient appointments. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check.
