Responsibilities
- Patrol designated parking zones regularly to monitor compliance with parking regulations
- Issue citations or warnings to vehicles that violate parking rules, ensuring fair enforcement
- Assist the public by providing information about parking regulations and directions when needed
- Document incidents, violations, and enforcement activities accurately through detailed report writing
- Collaborate with law enforcement or other emergency services during incidents or emergencies
- Conduct inspections of parking facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Lead by example in upholding professionalism and courteous interactions with the public
Qualifications
- Full driving licence
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage challenging situations confidently
- Strong report writing abilities to accurately document enforcement activities and incidents
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with the public and team members
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol outdoor areas for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is advantageous but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in traffic or parking enforcement is a plus
