Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, healthy, and functional. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from garden maintenance to construction of landscape features, in a dynamic environment. The ideal applicant will have a passion for horticulture and possess practical experience in landscape maintenance and related tasks.
Duties
- Perform general landscape maintenance including slab laying, brickwork, block paving, fencing, turfing etc
- Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with construction projects involving garden beds, pathways, or other landscape features
- Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape designs
- Ensure all outdoor areas are kept clean, safe, and visually appealing
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment such as excavators and power tools
- Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and construction tasks
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools
- Physical fitness to handle manual labour including lifting, digging, and operating equipment for extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or construction are advantageous
