The ideal candidate will have worked in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment and some experience within the fresh produce industry would be an advantage.
About the Role
Working in the Despatch Department, your key responsibilities are:-
- Packing hand tied bags of finished products onto customer pallets.
- Pallet Banding, Moving, Wrapping and labelling ready for distribution.
- Handling produce carefully to maintain quality standards.
- Moving and lifting bags of produce (up to 25kg).
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety at all times.
About you
Candidates must be able to work in a climate control refrigeration environment and possess the following:-
- Good communication skills including basic English which is essential.
- Good physical fitness – ability to lift weights up to 25kg regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Reliability and a proactive work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to use own initiative, work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Must have good flexibility with working hours
