The role is based within our Revenues Helpdesk. You will be providing information and advice to callers in respect of their council tax or rent.

You should have experience of providing excellent customer service and have good communication skills including written correspondence.
The post requires active listening skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a Customer Service based role, and you will require to be customer focussed and provide excellent customer care whilst dealing with multiple call types. You will be required to attempt to resolve customer enquiries, whether routine or complex, at the first point of contact.
Previous experience in a customer service environment is essential.
You must have the ability to use multiple IT systems and have excellent administrative skills.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
