JOB TITLE: - Production Operator - Part-Time / Term-Time
Reporting to: - Supervisor
Location: Lisburn
Hours of Work: - Monday - Friday, part-time, term-time. Fixed start and finish times will be agreed at appointment within 8:30am - 2:30pm.
Example patterns include
9:30am - 1:00pm
9:30am - 1:30pm
9:30am - 2:30pm
The agreed pattern is fixed and is not flexitime. Designated non-working weeks are set out in the Company Term-Time Working Calendar.
Outline of job: - The Production Operator will be responsible for performing production processes to ensure the quality, delivery and cost requirements of the business are achieved. The role will involve producing composite parts for paint and assembly operations. The outline of the role will include:
1. Utilising provided materials to prepare composite parts prior to painting.
2. Strictly following quality standards as outlined in Manufacturing Process Specifications.
3. Maintaining a presentable and standardised workstation in line with company housekeeping standards.
4. Carrying out assembly operations to prepare products for packaging.
5. Packaging finished goods.
6. Completing related product records and product identification.
7. Full compliance with all company health and safety requirements.

Duties a. Liaise with Supervisors regarding the quantities of product required.
b. Ensure that safe working practices are always followed.
c. Liaise with Quality Engineers to ensure that quality requirements are fully complied with.
d. Report faults to Maintenance to minimise downtime.
e. Ensure that good housekeeping, health and safety, and working standards are observed in and around the work area.
f. You may be required to transfer your skills and knowledge to others.
