Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children and supporting their early development. Duties
- Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training
- Develop and implement educational programmes aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a welcoming environment
- Oversee enrolment processes, including admissions and parent communications
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and staff schedules
- Organise staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating for children’s development
- Coordinate with external agencies as needed for specialised support or training programmes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance nursery quality and operational efficiency
Experience
- Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Extensive experience working directly with children in childcare or nursery environments
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare management
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties or outreach activities
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations relevant to childcare settings

Pay: £32,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
