We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a leading aerospace MRO operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-precision aircraft components that support global aviation safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for machining and overhauling precision components such as bushes, sleeves, and nuts using CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, working to tight aerospace tolerances and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program two- and three-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Manufacture and overhaul precision aircraft components to tight tolerances.
- Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Use imperial measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Carry out component rework and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Support and mentor colleagues where required.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience operating CNC lathes (2 and 3 axis) with Fanuc controls.
- CNC programming experience essential.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment (imperial units).
- Aerospace or MRO experience desirable but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Organised, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to work.

Pay: £33,800.00-£39,000.00 per year
