Overview
We are seeking a full time, dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is both enjoyable and memorable. You will assist with various tasks related to food and beverage service, catering, and hospitality, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Must be available 40 hours per week including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Support bartending staff by preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness at the bar area.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and efficient service during busy periods.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food and beverage supplies.
- Ensure all areas are set up & cleaned down inline with the opening & closing procedure sheets.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a must.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Basic bartending skills would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed, demonstrating a willingness to help wherever possible.
- A passion for food preparation and catering services is desirable.
