The Treehouse Club is a Forestry Nursery and out of school club in the heart of Essex. Operating for 14 years, we have grown to 12 settings including nursery, preschool, after-school and holiday clubs and looking to expand further.

If so we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, and nurturingPre-School & Out of School Club Deputy Manager to join our welcoming Pre School & Out of School Club team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years professional who is passionate about outdoor learning, child-led exploration, and creating inspiring environments where children can thrive.
Working alongside the Pre-School & Out of School Club Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operations of the pre-school while promoting high-quality EYFS practice and an exciting and active Out of School Club, both indoors and in our outdoor forest learning spaces.
Hours: 7:30am - 6:30pm 4 days per week Term Time Only

We are looking for the Pre-School & Out of School Club Deputy Manager to have:
- A strong knowledge on EYFS frameworks and curriculums
- Understanding of OFSTED requirements and expectations
- Must have leadership experience
Pre-School & Out of School Club Deputy Manager Job Role:
- To promote a consistent approach working towards our visions and mission, improving the quality of learning and development in the company’s settings and deploying this.
- Be a Designated Safeguarding Lead alongside the Manager (training will be provided)
- Lead the team in the managers absence providing high standards of care and education for the children.
- To assist with developing exciting programmes and activities for the Out of School Club.
- To lead if needed, Ofsted inspections and work with other local authorities as needed
- To support with company development.
- Overall management of Health and safety alongside the manager
- Review Staff development and implement improvement plans, alongside carrying out regular supervisions with the staff
- Ensure your setting is meeting the company policies and procedures
- Review setting development plans and target and update accordingly
- Provide the team with regular training updates, and ensure they are completing their mandatory training regularly
- Monitor and promote equality.
- Lead the pre school in their self-evaluation and quality assurance processes.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.
