Overview
We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to sell our handmade bread and pastries every Wednesday at Kirbymoorside market.
This is a customer facing role and you’ll be the friendly face greeting our customers every Wednesday at Kirbymoorside market from 7.30am until 1.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve our customers in a cheerful, friendly manner; maintaining excellent customer service.
- Help set up, organise and display the bread and pastries for sale, maintain a clean and tidy display throughout the day.
- Handle money transactions accurately using cash or SumUp machine.
- Understand product knowledge for allergies and food intolerance.
- Previous experience in retail is a plus but not required; enthusiasm, motivation and the ability to work in a team essential.
- Driving is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to cover occasional holidays on a Monday & Friday are desirable.
