Quay Consultancy Limited provides Quality Assurance, and Auditing Services to Social Housing providers within the property compliance sector.
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Property Compliance Consultant to join our organisation specifically those with Gas / Electrical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our customers' supply chain adhere to relevant legal standards, internal policies, and industry regulations.
This role is vital in maintaining the organisation’s integrity, safeguarding its reputation, and promoting a culture of compliance and quality assurance. The Compliance Consultant will work closely with various departments to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programmes, providing expert guidance on best practices and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect current laws and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to internal controls and external regulations.
- Undertake qaulity assurance reviews on supplier surveys / certificates
- Review organisational activities for potential compliance risks and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Provide ad-hoc training and support to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Investigate any reports of non-compliance or misconduct, documenting findings thoroughly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a compliance or quality assurance role within a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the organisation’s sector.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail for identifying potential risks or non-compliance issues.
- Effective communication skills, capable of delivering training sessions and liaising with diverse teams.
- Professional qualification or certification in compliance or related fields is desirable.
