Responsibilities
- Vigilantly observe pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure adherence to safety guidelines
- Enforce pool rules and regulations with clear communication and professionalism
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as needed
- Conduct routine safety inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool deck and locker rooms
- Record incident reports accurately and communicate relevant information to management
- Assist guests with pool access, answer questions, and promote a welcoming atmosphere
Experience
- Essential: current NPLQ (RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- Ability to stay alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on swimmer safety
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations
