Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Time Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and organised working environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are hygienic, tidy, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers regular daytime hours, making it suitable for those seeking consistent employment during standard business hours.
Days of work Wednesday(3.5 hours) and Friday (4 hours)
Hours of work - Flexible start time as work carried out during office hours, between 8.30am and 5pm.
Must like working around people in an office environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all office surfaces, including desks, tables, and workstations
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in washrooms and kitchen areas
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas including kitchens, break rooms, and reception area
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
