As a Floor Captain with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.
What you'll do:
-
Help keep workplace catering, kitchenette and welfare areas clean, safe, welcoming and fully stocked throughout the day.

Carry out regular checks of shared areas, making sure everything is presented to a high standard.

Monitor and replenish vending machines and coffee facilities, ensuring products are available, fresh and within date.
-
Manage stock levels and place orders as required to ensure essential supplies are always available.
-
Carry out basic stock checks, data entry and record keeping.
-
Identify and report equipment faults, stock shortages or other issues, helping to resolve them quickly.

Support the cleaning team when required, including providing additional cover during holidays or periods of absence.

Follow Food Safety, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all areas within your responsibility.

Respond to changing priorities throughout the day and provide practical support wherever it's needed.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and professional workplace experience.

Maintain a friendly, professional and positive approach when interacting with colleagues and customers.
What you'll bring:
-
Previous experience within cleaning, catering, hospitality or facilities support.
-
Food Safety Level 2.
-
A good understanding of COSHH and safe working practices.
-
A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
-
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage stock and supplies effectively.
-
Basic IT skills and the confidence to complete simple data entry and maintain records.
-
The ability to identify problems and take appropriate action or escalate them when required.
-
A reliable and professional approach to work.
-
Good communication and customer service skills.
-
The ability to work confidently on your own as well as part of a team.
-
Flexibility and a willingness to support different areas of the workplace when required.
