Montgomery Waters Ltd are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse team in managing and organising the warehouse operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling raw materials, finished goods, loading and unloading items, stock rotating and ensuring the smooth flow of warehouse processes.
Full Time, Mon-Thurs 6.00am-2.15pm, Fri 6am-2.30pm / Mon-Thurs 2pm-10.15pm, Fri 2pm-10.30pm (39 hours per week)
Rotating Shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading the production lines of finished goods
- Moving finishes goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Manoeuvring the trucks safely in a busy manufacturing environment
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods, pallets and raw materials
- Stock rotation
- Drive following all standard procedures
- Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
- Carry out Daily MHE inspections before using your truck and report any issues
- Report any damages to trucks, buildings, racking etc.
- Use of our Warehouse management system
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping
- To work in line with the Health & Safety regulations
- Any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager
- Work closely with key internal colleagues and external partners to ensure our statutory obligations are met.
Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Proficiency in using SAP is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Counterbalance FLT certificate is ESSENTIAL
- Reach Truck certificate is DESIRABLE, but full training will be given and will be an ESSENTIAL requirement for the role.
