Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a self-employed delivery driver. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting hot food to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have their own car, a valid driver's license, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Hot Food:
- Safely and promptly deliver hot food orders to customers' specified locations.
- Ensure the quality and temperature of the food are maintained during transit.
- Own Vehicle:
- Utilize your own reliable and well-maintained vehicle for deliveries.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Route Planning:
- Efficiently plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
- Familiarize yourself with the local area to navigate efficiently.
- Customer Service:
- Provide a high level of customer service, including a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns courteously and promptly.
- Adherence to Safety Standards:
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Take necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and expenses.
- Submit necessary documentation for reimbursement based on mileage (30p per mile).
- Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with the dispatch team and customers.
- Notify customers of any delays or issues with their delivery.
- Flexibility:
- Adapt to changes in schedules or additional delivery requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- Own a reliable and well-maintained vehicle.
- Possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Compensation:
- Payment of 30p per mile for all miles driven during deliveries.
- Reimbursement for certain job-related expenses.
