Northern Cancer Voices (NCV) is looking for a Partnerships & Communities Lead to help grow our network, strengthen our sustainability, and bring people together through impactful events and collaborations.
About Northern Cancer Voices
Northern Cancer Voices is a patient-led network that brings together people affected by cancer across the North of England. We work to ensure that the voices and experiences of patients, carers and communities influence cancer services, research, and policy. By connecting people and organisations, we help shape better outcomes and more equitable cancer care across the region
About the Role
This is a dynamic, people-focused role where you’ll lead on partnerships, fundraising, and community engagement. You’ll:
Build and nurture partnerships with organisations, communities, and supporters
Plan and deliver inspiring events that connect people and amplify lived experience
Lead community fundraising and develop new income opportunities
Represent NCV across the region at meetings, events, and engagement activities
Work closely with our Communications team to share impact and grow our reach
£28,018 pro rata for part time
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has experience in partnerships, fundraising, events, or community engagement
Is confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Is organised and able to manage multiple projects
Is a strong communicator, both in writing and in person
Brings energy, creativity, and a proactive mindset
Is passionate about inclusion, lived experience, and reducing inequalities
