A position has opened up for an experienced bookkeeper to join our family run business and become part of our team. The successful candidate must be experienced in using Quickbooks accounts software and ideally have some previous experience in the duties listed below as they will be responsible for the following:
- Coding and posting supplier invoices in QuickBooks Online
- Recording supplier payments
- NatWest bank account and credit card reconciliation through Quickbooks
- Entering weekly wages for staff & subcontractors onto Quickbooks
- Weekly credit control & updating customer accounts
- Entering petty cash bills onto Quickbooks
- Appealing parking charge notices
- Ordering scaffolding supplies & price comparison
- Ensuring all invoice queries are handled in a timely and efficient manner
- Subcontractor CIS verification & CIS monthly return submissions with HMRC
- Supplier account reconciliation
- Emailing customer statement of accounts
- Issuing subcontractors CIS statements monthly via email
- Taking office meeting notes for audit purposes
- Filing the quarterly VAT return
Must speak English & have good experience in bookkeeping (preferably using quickbooks)
Training can be provided for anything unfamiliar in the list above, however the candidate with the most experience may be preferable
Shifts can be flexible but ideally between 12 - 16 hours per week Mon - Fri
Times and days can be discussed and agreed prior to employment to suit both parties
Pay is weekly direct into bank the following week
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
