Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Roto Telehandler / 360 Slew Telehandler to join the major expansion project at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, Cambridgeshire.
The Wellcome Genome Campus officially broke ground on its major expansion in March 2026. The first phase of construction is targeted for completion in 2028, delivering new laboratory spaces, 83 worker homes, community amenities and sustainable energy networks across the enlarged 440-acre site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CPCS Telehandler operator to secure long-term, ongoing work on a major construction and infrastructure project.

Operate a CPCS Roto Telehandler / 360 Slew Telehandler safely and efficiently
-
Carry out material movements across the construction site
-
Load, unload and distribute materials as required
-
Safely manoeuvre materials around a busy construction environment
-
Operate the machine in accordance with site procedures and manufacturer requirements
-
Assist groundworkers and other site trades with material movements
-
Carry out daily plant checks and report any defects or issues
-
Ensure loads are handled safely and securely
-
Work safely around pedestrians, plant and other machinery
-
Maintain a clean and safe working area
-
Follow all site health, safety and environmental procedures
-
Work effectively as part of a busy construction team to keep the project on programme

Valid CPCS Roto Telehandler / 360 Slew qualification
-
Previous experience operating a Roto Telehandler / 360 Slew on construction sites
-
Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects is advantageous
-
Good understanding of safe lifting and material-handling practices
-
Ability to operate safely around other plant, machinery and site personnel

Good awareness of site health and safety requirements
-
Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude

Ability to work effectively as part of a large site team

Full UK driving licence beneficial
