STIM Scotland Ltd is currently looking to identify a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator at our Clydebank premises.
Working within a small warehouse that handles specialised fish health products and pharmaceuticals, the role requires a hands-on approach and a high level of coordination and customer service.
The role’s main responsibilities will be:
· Arranging order deliveries to customers
· Picking, conditioning and packing of goods (certain goods require forklift operation)
· Receiving stock, verifying packing slips, and inspecting goods
· Maintenance of stock control system, tracking incoming and outgoing stock
· Ensure proper storage of goods, and upkeep of temperature control systems
· Lead warehouse health and safety
Applicants should have previous warehouse and logistical experience, possess a friendly disposition and a positive can-do attitude.
Good communication skills and attention to detail are required for this role. They must be computer literate with familiarity of computer-based inventory systems.
The number of orders can vary day-to-day and with the season, so it is essential the candidate is able to prioritise workload and work efficiently with minimum supervision.
A current forklift licence is desirable, though training is available for the right candidate.
