Hours: 3:00pm-6:00pm, Monday-Thursday
Start Date: 1st September
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour

About the Role
S4A is looking for an enthusiastic Activity Leader to join our Wraparound Care team, based primarily in Whaddon.
You'll play an important role in creating a fun, active, and welcoming environment for primary school children after the school day. Working alongside the Settings Manager and wider team, you'll lead engaging activities, encourage children to take part, and help ensure every child has a positive experience.
The hours are 3:00pm-6:00pm, Monday to Thursday, starting on 1st September, with the opportunity to work additional hours during school holidays, where available.
This role is primarily based at our Whaddon setting. However, on several occasions throughout the year, you will be required to travel to support our other Wraparound Care settings in Buckingham and the surrounding villages. Applicants must therefore be able to travel reliably when required.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about working with children.
Role Overview
As an Activity Leader, you will:
- Deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for primary-aged children.
- Encourage children to take part, build confidence, and have fun.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Support the daily running of the after-school club alongside the Settings Manager.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and school staff.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management procedures at all times.
- Set up and tidy away equipment and activity spaces before and after sessions.
