Requirements
- For insurance reasons be 21 years of age or over.
- Held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 1 year with 6 points or less and no DR, CD or IN penalties.
- Have access to transport to get to and from our depot in G69 (Baillieston), Glasgow.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers the convenience of a provided van, fuel, and insurance, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free working experience. . This position is perfect for those who enjoy driving and working independently while providing excellent customer service.
- £141.57 a day
- Company vehicle , fuel and insurance all provided to carry out the job. Own transportation required to travel to and from the Depot.
- Shifts across all 7 days a week.
- Working hours: 12:00am – 9pm.
- Weekly pay – get paid on time, every time on a self-employed basis.
- Full training and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the delivery van to complete scheduled parcel deliveries within designated areas.
- Load and unload parcels, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery where required.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling of parcels is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple deliveries.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay: £141.57 per day
