Looking for more than just another driving job?
At Palmer Access, we're looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Vehicle-Mounted Access team. If you enjoy variety, working outdoors, and being part of a skilled team, this could be the role for you.
You'll transport and operate our vehicle-mounted access platforms at a wide range of locations across the UK. One day you could be supporting work on a film set, the next helping with high-rise building maintenance or working at a major sporting event. No two days are the same.
If you don't already hold an IPAF qualification, don't worry we'll provide the training you need.
What you'll be doing
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles to customer sites safely and professionally.
- Setting up and operating truck-mounted and track-mounted MEWPs, including Spider platforms.
- Installing and managing traffic management measures where required to create safe working areas.
- Carrying out daily safety checks and basic maintenance inspections.
- Setting up safe working and stabilisation zones on different types of ground.
- Working closely with customers and site teams to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
- Completing inspection reports and operational paperwork accurately.
- Keeping vehicles and equipment clean, well-presented, and ready for use.
- Representing Palmer Access professionally while wearing company uniform and PPE.
- Travelling throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays when required.
- Working flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends when the job demands.
