We have an exciting opportunity at our Marine & Oakridge Surgery for a Health Care Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position of 26 hours per week, working Monday, Thursday and Friday, although some flexibility may be considered for the successful candidate. Salary is dependent on skills and experience.
The successful candidate will work as part of our friendly and supportive nursing team, providing high-quality care and support to patients. The role will involve undertaking a range of clinical procedures including phlebotomy, health checks, blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, urinalysis, peak flow measurements and supporting health promotion activities. You will also assist clinicians where required, act as a chaperone and help ensure clinical areas are appropriately stocked and maintained.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a caring, professional approach to patient care. Previous experience within a healthcare setting is essential, with primary care experience being desirable.

Experience:
- Healthcare Assistant: 1 year (required)
