Duties
- Assist orthodontists during clinical procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterile
- Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, explaining treatments, and addressing their concerns with clear communication
- Support patients throughout their treatment journey, including appointment scheduling and post-treatment advice
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
- Monitor and manage the cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to uphold high standards of hygiene
- Educate patients on orthodontic appliances, oral hygiene practices, and treatment progress to foster understanding and cooperation
- Collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate appointments, manage stock levels, and ensure efficient clinic operations
Qualifications
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care with excellent communication skills in English
- Previous experience in nursing or dental assisting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for trainees
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT literacy for maintaining accurate digital records and using practice management software
- Ability to work well within a team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy towards patients
- Basic understanding of healthcare principles related to nursing or dental care is desirable but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop expertise in orthodontic nursing

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
