About the company: CP Yachts is a growing yacht management company based in Lymington. We provide yacht management, crew recruitment and operational support to luxury sailing and motor yachts around the world.
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Business Administrator to join our friendly team. This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of the business. You'll work closely with the Directors, helping to oversee the day to day running of the office while supporting the continued growth of the company.
This is far more than an administration role. You'll take ownership of projects, help improve systems and processes, lead a small team and play an important part in delivering an excellent service to our clients.
The Role: This is a full or part time position
We're looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a close knit team and can be present during agreed core office hours in our Lymington office. We understand that flexibility is important, so there will also be the opportunity to work some hours from home where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Directors with the day to day running of the business.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a small administrative team, helping to prioritise workloads and maintain high standards.
- Help develop and improve business processes, systems and procedures.
- Oversee administrative functions and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain company records, databases, policies and compliance documentation.
- Assist with bookkeeping, financial administration and reporting.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of crew for managed vessels.
- Assist with marketing, social media and company communications.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and crew.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and contribute ideas that support the continued growth of the business.
About You
You'll be:
- An experienced administrator with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- A natural organiser who enjoys leading, supporting and motivating others.
- An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Familiar with Apple systems.
- Proactive, positive and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, approachable and happy to roll your sleeves up when needed.
Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage:
- Leading or supervising a small team.
- The marine or yachting industry.
- Recruitment.
- Bookkeeping or accounting.
- Marketing and social media.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum for full time.
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays, pro rata.
